Alysia has a profound interest in the healing arts as a way to enhance the quality of life for those who seek her healing touch. She felt the calling to this career path and followed her dream by attending the Institute of Bodywork Studies in Flower Mound, Texas.
To provide her clients with multiple options, Alysia is trained in therapeutic, relaxation, prenatal, deep tissue, and sports massage techniques. In addition, she is a practitioner of Myofascial Release, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and Reflexology; she is also attuned to healing through Reiki. During sessions, she hones in on the parasympathetic nervous system and helps to decompress the mind, body, and soul by using slow, gentle tissue manipulation techniques. She adds emphasis on fascial release through broadening and stretching of muscles while opening and allowing them to re-oxygenate.
Alysia truly has the desire to help her clients along their healing journey.
Amanda started her journey with the healing arts by completing her first and second level attunements in Reiki in 2016. Inspired by the use of energy work, she decided to pursue a career in massage therapy to further aid people on their journeys to health and wellness. She completed a 900 hour massage education program from The Salon Professional Academy in 2017.
Over the years, Amanda has maintained a profound love for deep tissue massage and it continues to be a huge part of her work. She is also passionate about continuing her education to become a diverse, well-rounded bodyworker. This has led to further training in techniques such as craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, and ayurveda, with intentions to dive deeper into those techniques while also adding more modalities to her toolbox.
Amanda's goals as a body and energy worker are to assist people on their path to healing their mind, body, and spirit. She deeply believes this is the work she was born to do and strives to show up every day for herself and her clients, to create the most rewarding experience possible.
When she began her yoga journey in her early 20’s, Candace was far more limber and had no fear of going into shoulder stand and flowing into plow pose. After a second car accident and over a decade of re-injury, she realized the need for a yoga practice that allowed her to honor the limitations of her body, while working to rebuild strength and stability. In March 2021, she completed YTT200 at Yoga North International SomaYoga Institute, which allowed her to access greater ease and mobility in her body through a practice of small somatic movements, therapeutic yoga techniques, and a classical asana practice. Each asana & somatic movement is explored with curiosity and grace, offering an opportunity to identify, give attention to, and release deeply-held tensions and patterns of stress in a compassionate way. Candace has enjoyed sharing this practice with others, and offering space to rest, restore, and connect more deeply with the unique essence and wisdom we carry within us. She also loves being in the garden, hiking, traveling, eating delicious food, and spending time with friends and family.
